The errors I met druing compiling em_real of wrf in ibm aix hydra is showed as follows.
xlf90 1501-245 warning
It is caused by xlf high optimation, so you should vi configure.wrf and insert 'start_em.o : start_em.F' and 'start_em.o \' after '#compile these without high optimation'.
Remember inserting 'export OBJECT_MODE=64' to '.profile' if in the 64 bit os, then source .profile.
